Hi everone.I am six weeks along with my first baby.All of last week I had terrible cramping on my lower left side along with minor bleeding.I went to the ER because I felt something wasn't right.Sure enough the Doc found I had a cervical infection.When I asked them about the cramping and bleeding they wanted to do a transvaginal ultrasound to make sure everything was ok.After getting up inside they could see that I had ovulated from the left side.When the ovum pops off of the ovary it can leave almost like a sore spot,which is a cyst of hormones.It can cause some pretty intense cramping unitl it bursts which it is supposed to do on its own.They said my bleeding was from the infection.They gave me A HUGE horse shot of ceflex in my butt and had me take 1000mg of zithromax orally.I go back tominght to see how we are coming.Tomorrow is my first "real" OB appointment I am SOOOO EXCITED!!!! I am going to be a mother! ↓
