Hi,has anyone else experienced a cervical infection while pregnant?I am 5 1/2 week pregnant with our first and things don't seem to be going all that well.Last week I had light bleeding and I itched really bad when I peed,so I went to the dr.they said yeast infection and gave me treatment which caused me to bleed more so I went to the er and they said cervical infection.It doesnt really feel like it is going away even though they gave me so much antibiotics.I am hoping that this will not cause me to miswcarry.Has anyone else experienced this? ↓

did they say what type of infection and what caused it? ↑

No,they dont know what caused it.They are going to be checking it again tonight.They just said it is an infection on the outside of the cervix.I talked to a nurse yesterday and she said it will not be dangerous for the baby however it itches!She said sometimes it just happens for no apparent reason. ↑
