You can go to either one for a pregnancy test. If you are pregnant, you'll have to make an appointment with your ob/gyn anyway, so it might be convenient to go there in the first place. Alternatively, you could take a home pregnancy test, which is probably less expensive than going to the doctor.

Most Dr.'s recommend taking a HPT the blood test costs much more, my Dr. didn't even schedule me in till I would be 12 weeks along. I ended up going in at 5-6 weeks because of bleeding, but my Dr. said the HPT tests are very good, you may sometimes get a false negative, but I odn't think it really ever goes the other way around. If you are pregnant, you should call your GYN. ↑ |
