i cant remember exactly but my youngest daughter had problems with her platelet levels. i had to take her to childrens for test several times. i think its the white blood cells if im correct. i remember them saying they was worried about leukimia(think i spelled that right)..turned out everything was ok. her iron levels were low at the time and the platelet level went up to make up the difference..hope that helps some ↑ |
weren't you like some 13 yr old that had a baby journal not to long ago? ↑ |
platelets are the part of your blood that helps you to form clots. low platelets can mean a prolonged bleeding time if you cut yourself etc. one of the times it can show up in your bloodwork is during pregnancy - usually it's mild, ie not too low ↑ |
