ok so I go to take a bath last night, i get in the water and holy shit my incision hurt like hell. I look down and it looks really nw still like a new cut. I havnt even taken the steril strps off yet. Why the F87k am I not healed its been over 3 weeks. Then I look at my nipples and the skin is totally peeling off. wtf is wrong with me? why the hell am I falling apart???!!!! ↓

I thought that you were supposed to take the strips off sooner then that?? Are they keeping in moisture? If so take them off and expose you cut to lots of air after the shower. I wouldn't bath again until you see your dr. ↑

try keeping gauze over your incision... really helped me.. last time with Tyler mine healed slow... this time used the gauze and was pretty much healed.. well closed up in a week! ↑

I took two of them off and it hurt like hell... more than just a bandaid coming off now its all raw right there. I need to call the dr but I know he is gonna stick a qtip in there to check for infection and damn it im tired of hurting. 3 kids I had no time to properly heal. Jay did everything I asked for 2 weeks but the girls still needed mom so I was still going upstairs and taking care of the house... awww damn it I dont want to go to the dr! ↑

wtf? did you have a c-sec? after I had mine, they took the bandage off of my incision after 2 or 3 days....and then a public health nurse came to my house to remove the stitches about 4 or 5 days after that. Also..are you breastfeeding? maybe you rnipples are drying out from the sucking.... ↑

I would call the dr. You don't want to risk being down longer becuae of an infection. ↑

I had a c-section the big gauze bandage was taken off at the hospital, I have disolvable stitches it looks like the stitches are gone but there is a lot of scabbing in spots and a couple spots looks like a new fresh cut. The home nurse came two days after being home she said it looked like it might be a little infected, then I went to see the surgeon for my post op appt at 2 weeks she said it looked great. I felt great. Now it hurts like hell. I dont breast feed but I leaked for over 2 weeks way more than I remember from the other 2 kids. ↑

oh and the bandages im talking about now are just the little butterfly ones. When I had her i was getting over bronchiti so she said she put extra stitches and bandages because of my coughing. ↑

well I officially pulled the butterfly stripes off. It hurt like hell but I think it will actually help it to heal faster. ↑
