because i look like a frigging loser with my dark roots growing in from white blonde hair and i just want to touch them up.
i`m only a month along, and i`ve been reading up on hair dye and pregnancy and most people say that there`s no scientific proof that it does any harm to the baby.

has anyone dyed their hair during pregnancy? did anything happen? ↓

you can get highlights but dont bleach your hair. ↑

do not do it in your first trimester. you need to wait until your second trimester. ive heard that bleaching your hair, if that is what you need to do, is more dangerous. but i do still get my hair colored. not as often. ive only had it done twice since ive been pregnant and both times were well after my first trimester. ↑

I dyed my hair at 2 months with my other son and he was fine. With this baby I was almost 2 months and everything is fine I just didnt leave it on that long. I asked my doc and he said I shouldn't, but my roots are black too lol. My friend dyed her hair alot and her baby came out with a mark on her face, but it faded in time I am just going to wait all the way until October when baby comes out! So say hello to darker roots! ↑

I was the opposite. I dyed my hair darker and had super blonde roots grow in. Luckily hair dye fades quickly in my hair lol ↑

yes you can color or highlight....i am not gonna post all my scientific stuff again..but as a cosmetologist yes....just stay away from all over bleach just n case....and don't do it at home...a good stylist will get your color right cuz of your hormones ↑

I had gone to the hair salon and the lady told me they take out something from the hair dye but it wont be that effective. My doc and the lady at the salon said I shouldnt dye my hair. ↑

i worked with hair color and no gloves and my ob had no problem with that...i went to school for it and learned the chemistry and biology of the body and hair and it is not bad for you...it can work against your hormones...

And they don't take anything from the hair color...they use a very low volume developer that won't life it is deposit only....Which really it is just hydrogene peroxide...They might give you a color with no amonia but that too won't life...But those chemicals will not affect your baby if you put them on your scalp... ↑
