I hear ya. It's been an issue between my hubby and me - in the bedroom at least! We both miss non-pregnant and non-nursing sex!! But I have to admit that this pregnancy is going waaaay faster than the first, and I'm not all that anxious for her to get here! I feel like my hands are full enough with Sophie. This age is fun but very busy. You're getting close though right? You're due in May?

yep...My C-Section is officially scheduled for May 22nd....unless I go into labor before that of course!! :-) which I'm kinda hoping will happen, cause i didn't realize the big long process to it all!!! May 18th, I have to go to the hospital to meet with a nurse and anesthesiologist (sp?), then on the 20th I have to go back to the hospital again to get all this blood work done, THEN on the 21st, i have to remember to phone them to get the time of the c-section for the next day, and then FINALLY the 22nd is the day....so I hope i go into labor before that, so i can just walk in and go hey, i'm in labor, gimme my c-sec!! LOL.....

Yep, the sex is defiantely more awkward!! lol....i'm not very bendy right now....ha ha ha....I'm busy with Anika enough to make the time go by a little faster, but it's still getting really old!!! lol....i just keep trying to tell myself to just relax and enjoy this one on one time with Anika.

I'm definately not nervous this time around about him coming. exceot for the fact that i'm trying to figure out how i'm going to have a baby attached to my boob all the time, while Anika is running around!! LOL...

It's definately going to be interesting isn't it?

Mother2five - Sophie is 10 months old and I'm due June 22 with another girl. They'll be 13 months apart.

Brooke - Even though I'm not anxious for Zoe to get here, I wouldn't be disappointed if she was a week or two early! Sophie was 10 days early. And I'm definitely nervous about nursing and having Sophie running around!

What is Anika up to these days? Sophie still only has 2 teeth, and I swear she can walk but she just doesn't have the nerve to let go all the way. She barely holds on to my fingers and walks really fast - which of course kills my back! But yeah - it's going to be very interesting for awhile. I plan to use the peanut shell sling and just wear Zoe all day! You can nurse while they're in it, and then my hands will be free for Sophie!

well Anika has been rippin' around like a crazy girl. She walks if she holds on to one of your hands but as soon as you let go of her, she just stops walking and sits down!! lol....i think it's all in her head now, that she needs something to hang on to. I'm sure she'll let go one of these days, and once she does LOOK OUT!!! lol....Anika has had 8 teeth since before xmas and hasn't gotten anymore since. She acts and drools as if she's teething but nothing pokes through!! lol..oh well. she also isn't eating much anymore. i'm lucky if I can get her to have lunch and dinner. she seems to only want her bottles and her cerela in the morning and anything else she doesn't want. not even fruit!!! her weight gain seems normal so i don't know!!.....the mysteries of babies eh? lol....

Does Anika still eat the baby food or just table foods? Sophie has been off the baby food for about a week or two now, and she's doing much better with her eating. I wouldn't worry about it though because my doctor said that at this age their appetites aren't very good because they're so busy learning major skills (walking, talking etc). And 8 teeth - wow!! I don't know why Sophie hasn't gotten any more teeth. I think it's weird lol!

yeah, she eats what we eat...i just put it all in a blender!! lol....she absolutely LOVES fish....any kind....salmon, trout, snapper..you name it!! lol...and she likes potatoes with cheese. oh and spaghetti!! she goes bonkers....well....that's with her usual appetite....lately she won't have ANY of it. maybe a bite or two and that's it!

When did you start giving Anika fish and meat? I was planning on waiting until Sophie is a year old, but she does so well with everything else. Of course, she might need some more teeth!

i think she was around 9 or 10 months when I first gave her snapper, and she loved it, then I tried all the other ones and she really enjoys it. but the key is to not over cook it, cause then it gets too dry. with the snapper, I take a piece of tinfoil and lay some sliced onion out on it, then I lay the snapper on top of that and sprinkle some chopped up garlic on top of the fish and some lemon-pepper. then add a few dollops of butter here and there and wrap it up in the tin foil. I usually double wrap it in case I puncture it cause you don't wanna loose the melted butter. then bake it in the oven or bbq. it stays so moist. Anika has no trouble eating that at all. plus fish flakes off into little tiny pieces. but still if you're scared of her not being able to chew, then put it in a blender with some mashed potatoes or something.

but she's never had a problem with it at all. she hasn't gotten sick or constipated or anything.
