The pull out method is not really the most reliable. It can help decrease the chances of pregnancy but never eliminate the possibilities. When a man is aroused he can release small amounts of sperm before he ejaculates fully. It is also unreliable as if he pulls out even slightly too late pregnancy can occur. Basically, it is likely to become pregnant from the pull out method. Maybe not as much as it would be if he ejaculated inside you but there are many factors which can mean sperm will still enter the vagina.
