When I lay down in bed on my side my hips feel very sore, almost as if they're bruised, is this another symptom of pregnancy? I know that eventually it will be, but I noticed it first started happening a couple of days ago, and I'm only 15 weeks. I have a small frame and this is my first pregnancy so I was thinking that because I don't have "wide" hips (no offense if anyone takes it) that my body is already started preparing itself for the baby. Any info would be appreciated. :D

Hi Shauna. I have the same problem although this is my 4th pregnancy and it has gotten worse with each one. My lil sister had very sore hips with her first pregnancy. No worries, your hips are just preparing themselves for delivery and in my opinion since your hips are preparing themselves so well (hence, the pain) you should have no problem pushing that baby out. I started having this pain very early on in this pregnancy and the only way I can lay comfortably in bed is on my back which my dr. says is a no no. My dr. didn't have any advice for how to relieve this pain. If yours does, please let me know!! Good luck with your pregnancy and I hope the pain gets better.
