Have any of your dh's ever used an at home fertility kit to measure sperm count? We've been ttc for 6 months now...according to our dr, since we have not conceived yet, and because of our age, that classifies us as infertile. I just went to the dr before we started ttc, bcause of our previous miscarriages...and he ran all kinds of tests and stuff, and said that I was fine, he wouldn't be surprised if I got pregnant our first try if we mapped my ovulation. We've always had sex the week of my ovulation, and still no luck...so Im thinking maybe the problem is with HIS end of the deal.
He's agreed to see a dr about it here in the next few weeks, but I was wondering if any of u knew of anyone who had ever used those. I'd like to be prepared if it is a low sperm count. I would rather find out at home with just the two of us there than to find out from a dr or nurse.

| not to sound vulgar but do you get off during sex? i was reading somewhere that if you wait toget off until after he finishes inside you, like masturbate while laying there with ur legs up it helps the sperm. you probably already knew that though sorry was just curious ↑ |

Ashley his isn't infertile and neither are you, you have fallen pregnant before and unfortunately had miscarriages. If you were infertile you wouldnt have fallen pregnant before.
Sorry to be short in this reply but by fingers are taped together/strapped as you know because of its dislocation yesterday. It is now twice the size and bruised really bad, making it difficult to type. I was at the hospital getting xrays today and thankfully it isnt broken. I didnt take any pain relief at all. I am so proud. ↑ |

have you tryed havin sex on all fours because i tryed this the week of overlation and after 2 attempts that week i then missed my period and im pregnant.
if u have tryed it u must try harder or do get one of those kits i have heared thay are good ... ↑ |

amomtobe~yeah, we made it down to that office okay, although it was VERY scary...we drove all the way down there and then they couldn't even do the stupid test, even tho when she called to set up the appt, she told them that's what it was for!!!! So, we wasted like 2 hours for nothing. She called a dr here near my place, but cant get in until mar6, so i don't know....
claire~we've tried to do it that way, but its painful for me that way, so I guess we'll just keep trying the normal way...although i do think we're going to buy one of those tests next weekend.
The reason I'm so worried is that John was talking with a few guys from work and there are at least 3 of them that have had developed low sperm count since they started there...guess its something in the chemicals they use ↑ |
