Hi all I am new to this site, just wondered if anyone out there has twins. I am 6 months this week and stil have only gained 13 lbs. I am a little worried that thats not enough. I moved to Canada and have no health insurance here so I was dealing with the mid wifes, they are still trying to help me but because I am considered high risk now they are legally limited to what they can do. I have only had one ultra sound and very minimal testing. I have no family ect so I dont really have anyone to ask. Anyone with some info would be greatly appreciated thanks Kat

hello! i only gained 20 pounds my entire pregnancy. although, i was not carrying twins. what was nice, was after i had my baby, i lost more weight than i gained, and ended up weighing less than before pregnancy! but...the little pregnancy belly hasnt quite disappeared. i only had one ultrasound throughout my pregnancy, and also minimal testing. as long as your mid wifes are confident, i dont see why you should have any excessive worries. Doesnt Canada's government cover medical costs?? You should look into that, or maybe free clinics.
