| 3d ultrasounds are relatively new technology, and it's not cheap. That sounds about right for video or pics. 3d u/s are not medical procedures so there's no place that you'll be able to get them for free. Maybe you can find a clinic that offers more competetive rates, but I doubt you'll find anyplace that charges under $200 for the video. ↑ |

The 4D ultrasound is fairly new and not all doctors offer it. Some doctor offices now only do the 4D, some still do only the older sonograms and then there are doctors office who have the 4D but will only do it upon request. Most people are going to run into this same situation but you should be able to get pictures of your ultrasound that are not in color.
I haven't had an ultrasound as of yet so I don't know what to expect. I do know that my OBGYN just recieved there 4D sonogram about 5 months ago. To it me really doesn't matter if the pictures are in color as long as I get a few. As nice as it would be to have them in color so people could see what I saw at the doctors office I'm just not willing to fork out that kind of money. ↑ |
| I had a 4-D ultrasound done i'm here in Vegas and mine was 130 dollars and it came with a 20 min video of my baby 20 black and white pictures and 20 color they weren't the greatest because i wasn't that far along for the 4-D place but i got to see my baby smile for the camera one time it proves babies can smile before they are born. ↑ |
| $130 isn't bad for what you got. I would pay that. I can't see paying $150 for a couple of pictures just to have them in color and then additional $ for the video. ↑ |
| I live in the st. louis area and i got 3d/4d with my last pregnancy, it was 175 for a 30 minute dvd and i got 6 color pictures, plus I got to have 5 people in the "theatre" with me! It was for my birthday and it was really special! I don't mind forking out the money for something that means so much! | Hey if your boyfriend is will to help or pay for the entire cost I would go for it. I will definately get pictures just not sure if I want to spend the money for color. I would be fine even if they weren't in color. I might however, if it doesn't cost to much fork out the money for the recording. ↑ |
