Hello everyone!! well im about 13wks pregnant with my first child (YAY!) and i was wondering if any one else out there has been told that their uterus faces their back rather than facing forward (which most women's does) Is there anything that I need to be watchful about, and will i have any kind of problems ..major or minor later on in the pregnancy.. ive noticed that i have to go all the time, but barely #2 (sorry im trying to describe things without getting gross) but any info would be great.. it's hard to find the info i need on the net and my doctor's appt isnt for another 2 weeks..

thanks!!

Nora, I have a tilted uterus too. The only thing I've ever really noticed is that the cramping is more in the back, which I felt quite a bit of in the beginning. After you uterus rises up it won;t really matter anymore if it's tilted or not. The only thing I was warned about was that sometimes the uterus could get caught on the pubic bone and not rise out of the pelvic area. If this does happen, you wouldn't be able to pee. Even that's not too bad, they would just have to help your uterus move. I had no problems whatsoever. Good luck!
