| well when my sis inlaw had her baby they wouldnt let it take my bros last name bc they werent married they had to get married and fill out paper work for a name change and now im preg and i want my baby to have my fiances last name and she said it would more than likely not be possible so im not sure what to think ↑ |

| my best friend Jean has a 5 year old daughter with her ex fiances and her daughters last name is his last name. She is no longer with him and they are not on speaking terms what so ever but last name inst that important to her she knows her daughter loves her no matter what the name ↑ |

| hi april.. i was jus\t curious where do you live? Here in massachusetts you are allowed to give your baby pretty much any last name you want. is it a law that you have to be married for baby to take fathers name? ↑ |

| michelle, lol my middle name is michelle also but i live in georgia and honestly i have no idea but thats what they told my sis inlaw that she couldnt unless they were married but i think i might just research it right quick ok ttus bye ↑ |

| here in ohio u don't have to be married to give the baby the fathers last name. my sis n law also lives n Ga she gave her sons her boyfriends last name they wern't married ↑ |
