I also made sure I had my focal point, a fan, birthing ball, rolling pin (to help with reverse pressure for your back), herbal pack that could be both cold or warm, my fav pillow, & my favorite shirt which I gave birth in.

Boppy

I would also bring a few outfits in different sizes and recieving blankets. Kaden was allergic to the hospital linen (they have to use harsh detergents) and so I was glad I brought back up...

we also have a pillow and blankie in the car for dad and the car seat...dont forget them too
but they give you a lot of stuff at the hospital so...bring stuff if you would prefer your own brand or what not

Also if you have a pet it is good to get an extra blanket and let baby sleep on it and introduce that blanket (smell) to the pet prior to getting home. & DUH of course your boppy. Thanks Randi! I think I need to be fired as a lactivist. LOL!

The only things I really used were my mints, chapstick, toiletries, and going home clothes for baby. I just stayed in my hospital gown the whole time.
If you're going to not have an epi, a robe and slippers would be nice for if you get up to walk around. I had a short labor and an epi so I never got out of bed.
