My daugher is really beautiful but she's really self concious about her height she's 4'10 and the doctor says she's not growing anymore she's a tiny thing 98 lbs beautiful face and a cute figure...I tell her dynamite and diamonds come in small packages all the time which helps her sometimes is there anything I can do to make her feel better? ↓

| david- she's a girl, a lot of girls have insecurities you can't just tell them to suck it up, they feel that they have to be perfect for guys, I'm sure her daughter does realize that there are people out there shorter than her but still, you're not a girl obviously and don't know what its like to feel like you have to be perfect!. Angie- it'll past your daughter won't worry so much about it after a while.. besides it's been my experience that a lot of guys like short girls.. :) ↑ |

| I'm 17 years old and 4'11". I'd be lying if I said that my height (or lack thereof) never bothered me. What bothers me is not the actual height, but how people react to it. When I am introduced to someone for the first time, at least half of them say "Hi, wow, you're really short." If your daughter is uncomfortable with her height now, she may grow into it (..emotionally) in a few years or so. If she doesn't, she'll need to realize that yeah, being normal height would be nice, but she's not, and she can't change it. Hopefully she'll come to accept and love herself for who she is. ↑ |

| im 4'11 too, I sometimes feel like bad about it, but it's what makes me ...me. Kelly ppl do that to me too! they'll be like Wow you're really short... sometimes i feel like saying "Gee, I am???? I thought I was a giant!" because like I dont know im short they dont have to point it out.. but yeah ive thought about it and im really happy to be my height.. this is the height God wanted me to be and so i'll be it but I can still wear high heels!! I have these cool platforms everyone always comments on them.. im not wearing them to be taller ppl think that but im not...Can't short ppl wear high heels without ppl saying.. do you wear those to be taller?? ... no I don't :) but it's ok im sure your daughter will grow out of being self concious bout it everyone has something they wish they could change but its what makes ppl who they are. ↑ |

| My neice has the same problem. She is a beautiful 16 year old but is on the short side. I think it depresses her but we always tell her how pretty she is and her height she gets from her grandma! Then she smiles and giggles! ↑ |

| My daughter and I just had this conversation. She is 5'1 I am 5'2. I watched a documentary with her on little people. I asked her then if she felt the need to complain about her height. She decided she was just fine. ↑ |
