I'm nervous because of all the risks with women over 35, and I had a miscarriage about 14 months ago. On the other hand I'm excited. I have fifteen and sixteen year old boys.

Wow, congratulations!

Honestly, the health risks don't go up all that much, many women your age are having children. My aunt had a baby at 43 (after having her tubes cut six years prior! My family are clearly bred to be babymakers, we even manage to get around that pesky pill.) and he was perfectly healthy. (Quite ugly, but I blame his father's genes for that!)

Do your boys know? It'll be a bit gross to find out their mother's still having sex - but after the miscarriage (so sorry to hear of it) they're probably over that by now. Don't worry about the health risks, just consult a doctor and use common sense and you should be fine :)

Good luck and have a happy pregnancy!
