Can a 16 years old boy have liung cancer, or other type of mouth cancer? Is it common?

No, that would be very rare to develop either of these diseases at such a young age. However, if you're concerned about a family member then he should be checked out by a doctor.

yes because you get any cancer any time in your life you can be 16 or116 it dosent matter.

Most cancer occurs in the older population.

Certain types of cancer virtually never occur in babies, children or teenagers - this includes lung and mouth cancer.

Children and young people are more likely to suffer from leukamia or bone cancer.

Cancer isn't simply one disease - there are over a hundred different types and forms.

I would say that the chance of a teenager having lung cancer is extremely small indeed.
