| Your dad sounds a little too over protective. If you have a best friend,maybe you could see if she could come spend the week-end with you at your house so you won't feel so cut off from the world. You need to talk with your dad and tell hiim you are NOT a bad kid and ask him to please let you prove it by giving you some freedom. Tell him it doesn't have to be alot right off but just a couple hours here and there with your friends to go to the mall or for pizza or a movie,and then over time when he sees that you can follow rules well,then maybe you could convince him to let you spend the night with your best friend. You could even let your dad talk to the girls parents and see where they live just to ease his mind more. Have your friends spend some time with you and your dad that way he can get to know them and see what kind of kids they are and then maybe he will loosen up and let you have more enjoyment and freedom without being under his thumb constantly. He just loves you and is trying to protect you and be the best parent he knows how to be for you,don't be so hard on him! ↑ |

Allot of dads are too voer protective their worried.. especially if your a girl the dangers of pierpresher that is around is more seductive to women then to men..( no offence to women ).
Anyway let your dad know you need our own space.. you wanna be with your mates, and if he says 'you spend all school day with them' just reply with ' no i work during the school day' ↑ |
