12 isn't young for dating. But making out and oral sex isn't right for your age yet. It's alright to hold hands and share secrets.

Kid...your too young to be having sex. Did you know that girls under the age of 18 which have sex have a higher rate of vaginal cancer; because the cells aren't developed, and the sexual penitration (of the penis) disturbs the growth. Oral is just wrong in my oppinion... Listen kid childhood only comes once....take innocence for as long as you can

Just to get something straight, Alex is talking a load of crap.
It's alright to hold hands, make out a little and share your secrets. You can do two of those with close friends - and boys your age make better friends than boyfriends, trust me.

Oral sex can give you just as many Sexually Transmitted Diseases as 'actual' (penetrating) sex, so if you are going to do it, wait until you're old enough to buy a condom and know how to actually put one on - but that still leaves the problem of you recieving oral sex - there are special 'mouth condoms' you can use, but it's even harder to purchase those while underage than it is to just buy condoms. My advice? Leave it. Don't have oral sex with anybody until you're over 16 and completely in love. It sounds cliche, but I didn't have any kind of sex - oral or otherwise - until I was 18. He's my fiance and I'd known him for four years at that point.

Making out's okay - but be careful about letting it turn in to something else, okay? Be careful.

Take care of yourself and, when you decide to have sex, make sure you really do know about contraceptives - I don't want to see a post by an 'Angelina' blaming her boyfriend for getting her pregnant just 'cause she had no idea about condoms, okay? :-)

If you're asking that question, then yes. You're definitely too young.

You are too young. Hell, you're not even done with puberty. Wait until you're out of middle school. You definitely do not need to be doing any sexual stuff at this age, you are still a child.

not with making out and oral sex, especially at your age. Knowing from being that age once, i know that guys will tell everyone and then you will get a rep. as a whore.

Wow, my daughter is 12 and I would be upset if she was making out or having oral sex. I do believe twelve is too young to be experiencing these things. You have your whole life ahead of you. Is it just your curiousity? Let me tell ya, it's not that big of deal. Sure maybe at the heat of the moment but usually your relationship with the person doesn't last that long. Perhaps you feel this my be your true love but that isn't always the case. Guard yourself as long as you can. Focus more on your schooling and your future ahead of you. There is nothing wrong with having a relationship but only the honest and serious ones are the ones, who are willing to be respectful of each other. You want the opposite sex to appreciate you for who you are, not what you can do for them. Also, you don't want to be labeled as an easy target that everyone talks about. Take things slow.
