Help,i have a 6 month old dwarf lop bunny named Charlie, and we have have a lush hutch out in the garden with the separate sleeping compartment, but he has decided not to use it in the evenings, this means that when it rains which it does a lot up here in Scotland,he ends up getting wet and cold so we have to take him in every evening to avoid him catching a cold or worse, can anybody shed some light on why he's acting up like this, any ideas what i can do to make him want to use his bed! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Jay! x

Hello Jay,
There could be a few reasons for why Charlie is not using his hide a way box. Please tell me more as to the set up of his hutch? Does he have bedding in his hide a way box? Is the floor solid or wire? What material is his box made of (wood/plastic)? Is his box heated? Can he stand or turn around in his box? Some times the location of the hutch is a factor, if the hutch/cage is in a location that feels unsafe to him he may refuse to sleep in his box.
