| I love rats! I had a female and a male that I mated, they had 7 babys. The las baby died about 7 months ago she was 5 years old. My rats would come when I called them and they would stand on thier hind legs and dance for a treat! I loved my rats!! they are so lovable. My females all had several tumors that had to be surgically removed. It is common for females to develope tumers, so watch out for themif you have females! The other day.....NO JOKE...I was in the pet shop and there was 2 rats for sale.....they were HUGE, as big as a month old kitten.

| Hiddy my male rats all weighed about a pound thats huge for a domestic rat! I had my male rats neutered for a couple reasons. 1. It made them much more friendly 2. I had females and dint want hundreds of babys and 3. I couldnt stand the huge damb things dragging secreations along every thing they walked on! They do make wonderful pets though! ↑ |
