Hi. We brought our new baby home 11 weeks ago. Our dog didnot seem to mind too much. He would follow us around when we ad Danny in our arms and would run to his side when he wa scrying. Last week he started throwing up and a fe wtiems there were little bood clots in there. We took him to the vet and the tests came back fine. Well over the weekend he did not eat much. Maybe a cup the whole weekend(He is an 80lb shepard mix) and this morning he vomitted blood again. I noticed this weekend that after I spent 20 minutes playing wiht him that is when he went and drank some water then ate some food. I am just wondering if any of your dogs went through this after bringing a baby home. We are going to call the vet once my husband gets home, since I can take him and the baby to the vet....but was wondering if it could be he is depressed. I don't know why he would be throwing up blood if he was depressed, but thought I would put it out there to see? Any response would help. Thanks!

i dont know about the blood is it black (partially digested) or red(from the trachea)if it is red it is probably from the strain of throwing up if its black i have no educated guess to give. one of my dogs has taken meds for 5 years to help with depression and anxiety . if it is something you want to try most of the time its only temporary and dogs are a pack animal try letting him "help" with the baby
