do you own a leash? if you cant control them it is because you do not demand it . use a leash and teach them commands dont let them run away . if they are pups they will chew everything its like having a baby. puppy proof your house. if you are not going to be responsible enough to spay and neuter your pets then you need to learn how to be a pack leader wether they are your babies or not you you need to understand that dogs are pack animals and they require an alpha leader not just a friend to cuddle them. it doesnt mean that you dont love them but without discipline you have chaos. please have them fixed and they will probably calm down a little bit. they at 6 months are sexually mature. and the hormone change can increase that bad behavior

you should keep them on the leash until they follow voice commands every time you need to be careful not to lose good leash manners but try to let them be able to get away from you a little and make them come back with a voice command such as come or here or my dogs all use to me. put a tie out for one of them and only use the leash with one at a time and only for 10-15min until they get used to it. are you taking them for a walk? it will really help with training because when they get moving so do their insides take them for a 15min brisk walk before bed so that they get tired en dwont wake as easily it cuts down on night potty problems. it may take different amounts of time for each of them but stick with it and they will learn but you must be firm remember that you are the pack leader at all times! good luck

1)Start by putting a leash on them. 2) Give them a bit of run on the leash. 3)Call them back to you. 4) At the same time you call them pull the leash gently, forcing them to come to you. 5) When they get to you treat them or simply praise them. Keep doing this and eventually they will come when you call them. Be consistent and patient, it will eventually pay off!

Have you tried a gentle leader? It goes on their head and around the muzzle, you attach the leash to it. It works really well for the dog that pulls while being walked. By using this they are unable to pull because it is attached to their muzzle and all pulling will do for them is cause their own head to be turned. They eventually wont move ahead pulling because they don't like their heads to be turned by their muzzles. Once you have control of their heads you will have full control of the dog. It will also teach them to be more focused on you, not every thing else around them!

You can find them at most pet supply stores. Let me tell you I have found this to be the best walking tool for dogs that are pullers. Small dogs as well a large! People who have not seen them will think you have a muzzle on your dog. They will ask you if he/she bites or why is he/she wering a muzzle? I found myself explaining all the time what it was and that it wasn't a muzzle.

they are a really good product i forget about them because my personal dogs are started walking at 6 weeks(not long walks just a few minutes at a time to get them accustomed to the leash)and i guess thats why i dont have pullers. the foster dogs i work with and usually about a week in thye dont pull any more either.

Ecila54 ~ Another method for the tugging is when they get ahead of you and start to tug on the lead, turn around and walk the opposite way. This is another way to get a dog to walk with you, not walk you! You will have to have patience but if you do this every time they get ahead of you eventually they will stay with you.

they could probably do with having the food and water taken up at about 5 they wont be hurt by it and if you take them out right before bed that should get you through until morning

Ecila54 ~ Do you have them on self feeders? If so take them of it and feed them at scheduled times. if you allow them to eat when ever they want you will have a hard time getting them on a potty routine.

Hi lindalu i do have a self feeder but its not working proply,i have their food and water in dog bowls i leave the bowls where they can find them

Name: lindalu | Date: Sep 20th, 2007 3:10 AM
You should not allow them to feed when ever they wish. it makes it difficult to regulate their potty time. You want to get them on a schedule so they don't go at an unwanted time and place. If they eat when they want to they will have random potty times.

Should it be 3 meals

Name: lindalu | Date: Sep 20th, 2007 1:06 PM
You don't have to feed three times, you can feed twice a day once in the morning and again in the early evening. I assume you feed them hard food, if so thats good! continue with the hard food. Be sure to feed them in separate areas such as... one bowl across the room from the other. You don't want to place one bowl of food down for multiple dogs either... that will only cause them to fight and may cause one not to get his share of the food. Their weight will depend on the amount you should feed them I had a dog that weighed about 30-40 lbs I fed her 1cup of dry twice a day. How much does your dogs weigh? Also if at all possible never feed them table scraps they will get unhealthy and fat!

i agree hard foods are better unless they have a medical condition that calls for the moist food. when you buy a bag of food it should tell you how much to feed them
