I had to get my Tarantula bigger food she isn't interested in the crickets any more so I got some Falls Death Head Roaches. Man they are huge not as large as the Madagascar roaches, but still big. I am going to feel terrible feeding them to her, they are so awesome looking.

It turns out the tarantula doesn't want nothing to do with the roaches. So now I have a half a dozen huge adult roaches that I am caring for as pets.

i got a scorpion and their the same as spiders they eat the same ive never feed my roaches,, but i like animals but i don't do stupid things like people do on youtube.com they gave a baby rats to a tarantula their so stupid people out there but on that web site those people that do that which is wrong

i like animals and i would never do that i mean never the scorpion i got is a emperor scorpion that grows up to 5 to 8 inches long & never uses its tail if im gonna own a pet i will not use it as a entertainment thing i'll keep it as a normal pet i would not feed a rat to a scorpion or tarantula s know its nature briseis for other animals to eat each other to survive and i respect that but george nelson see i got a friend thats 26 years old that has more reptiles then i can count but you can feel bad but i've been there but if it bothers you you could give it to other people that would take it

What is wrong with letting an animal do what it would do in nature, only in captivity. I think it is cruel to prevent a creature doing what its instincts tell it to do. But whatever, if it makes you feel better to give them prosesed food rather than food it can get some satisfaction out of eating, then tahats your business, i just don't think it's right.

eric, if you are ignorant enough to think I hunt purly for enjoyment, than I pity you. I beleive in animal welfare as much as the next guy, that is actually a big reason why I hunt. But, unintelligent non-hunters often can't understand the semi-complex ethics of hunting. To dumb it down, Most who oppose hunting are dumb, most who support hunting are smart.

There see, it's not so hard speaking in a non-insulting manner, now we can have a civilized conversation like gentalmen. You said I would be cruel to animals if I killed a squirell, trust me, shooting the squirells is the least cruel thing that the squirell will ever experiance. By shooting them i save them from a death by starvation, or a death by mutilation at the hands of another animal. Shooting a few squirells, like shooting a few of any animal, is a hundred times less cruel then not.

10calama its a good thing humans cant shoot people to save them from a unforeseen death. You shouldn't just go out shooting animals because they may die from another cause other then old age. Also... does your mum really let you run around with a fire arms? I would never allow my 16 year old child to.

Do you let your child use knives, of course they have been around knives their entire life and have learned a respect for them. the same is true for guns, they are dangeous but I have been around them since I was a very small child and have learned a deep respect for them from my father and grandfathers. It is somewhat the same with hunting, if you are around it your entire life, and see animals die from a young age, you develop a respect for the sport and even get a sense of what the animal feels. I'll run it down for you, you probably think I am a barbaric person who thinks nothing of animal wellfare, yet I cannot bear to make a poor shoot on an animal, I have done such in the past and it gave me a feeling of remorse, I would rather not have shot than make a bad one. On the other hand making a clean kill gives me happiness. Anyway I guess the reasons behind hunting are difficult to explain to someone who has never been around it. The reasons i guess are mostly felt inside and not hard and explainable. anyway, i am starting to ramble so have a nice day and try to understand points of view different than your own.

Keep in mind they can eat crickets almost their own size. Mine wont eat any thing that is to small. I don't know if she doesn't recognize it as food, but if it isn't almost her size she wont touch it.
