You could do what my mom does. She just gets what she wants and then smiles real big and tells my dad its a big surprise. It has worked for her so far!

Yep Lucy! I want...I want! It seems I spend my life on takin care of animals and my daughter . lol Which I don't mind at all. I just want a doggie I can put in my purse and take everywhere! lol I don't know if the surprise thing will work though! ↑
