I have two male red eared sliders (5" and 6") in a 55 gal tank. The large one is facing the other with his legs extended on either side of the other face and shaking his legs. What is he doing? ↓

Are you sure that you have 2 males? We have 2 sliders and ouur male does that to our female. It has something to do with mating. ↑

As far as I know, they are both males because they both have long claws. Is that a sure way to tell the sex of the turtle? ↑
