My question is, how do I tell my parents I'm pregnant?
I'll give you some background. I'm 20 right now. I met my boyfriend 3 years ago when we were both sent to boy's and girl's home's. Incase you don't know what that is, it's normally for religious people (Christian/Baptist) normally. Your not aloud to talk to the opposite sex while your there but we went around the rules and past notes and exchanged phone numbers. When we both were home we kept in contact. We started officially dating almost a year ago. I live in NC and he lives in TX... I've made 2 trips to see him, the past one being a month and he's came to see me for a couple weeks. This past trip to see him we had sex for the first time... a few more time's after that. But anyways, I felt weird and thought I was pregnant since then. When I got home I took a pregnancy test and it came out positive, I took a second one and it had the same results. Your probably asking why did't we use protection. And that's a good question. The only answer is because it wasn't planned, we wern't planning on it until we were married. We were planning on getting married in April but now we will move it up because neither of us want to have the baby without being married. It's really bad timing but we love each other dearly and we will love the baby just the same. The only problem we have now is telling my parents. He's told his and she is supporting us. I've told my cousin and she is supporting us but my parents are very strict Baptists and definately do not believe in sex outside of marriage, let alone a baby in wedlock. We are Christians as well and we feel bad for the sin we have committed (sex outside of marriage), but that's what happens when your let your guard down and stop being close to God. We know the mistake we have made and now we don't want to make anymore. But if you have any advice on how to tell them that would be great... Thanks alot
