hey i am one month and a few days late on my period...ive taken 3 tests all negative.....i was on the patch for a year and just came off of it in january and ive been irregular, but not this late....can anyone relate?  ?

I can! I am 13 days late but am never late. I have taken 5 tests at home and one urine test at the doctors office. I don't understand how I can be so late and the tests still say negative. Does anyone have any ideas?  =

Some it can take up to 2 or 4 week before ur "pregnant" Like the sperm is in you but has not meet the egg. so that may be the case. but I'm very irregular. i can skip my period for 3 months then have it for 2 and skip 1 then have it for 1 and skip 3 again. Just depends. Also if you just got off the patch that may effect the way you are having your period. Like you may become irregular again. And skip a month. Or the egg and sperm just have not meet. Well anyways i hope this helps. But the best thing is for to go see the doc. good luck. beca  =

thank u becca....yea i figured the whole thing where conception may not have taken place yet, but we use condoms and i took a pregnancy tesy a few days ago, still negative....so im just assuming im just really irregular....i was before i got pregnant like when i was 17 and 18...i got pregnant at 18 (dont know how because i was very irregular!) but i did, then the patch regulated me like clockwork after i had my daughter!....but i hated the patch and would rather not screw around with birth control....how old are you?....its nice to see that someone else is as irregular as me, not saying thats a GOOD thing, but it makes it makes me feel like im not the only one who can skip a period or 2 on a regular basis  =

Hey Davina, well still no sign of my period but I am getting these pains in my lower abdomen. They don't feel like cramps, just soarness? well I took a pt test yeserday afternoon and it came out neg. the cramps are gone. Still no sign of my period, so I am going to wait until I take another one. I guess its just the patch that makes my period all messed up. I hope I get it soon, I will feel relieved when I do. I'll keep you updated.  =

i wouldnt worry about it too much right now! i fonally got my period on september 5th! but i had not had it in over 3 months!! birth control just messes your hormones up! i started taking vitex about a month before i got my period and i think it helped, its suppoed to help balance your hormones after coming off birth control...also i drink red raspberry leaf tea almost everyday, its a uterine tonic thats also supposed to aid in menstruation....good luck and like i said if your tests are negative and you think the possibility of pregnancy is low anyways, then just wait it out a while longer! if i can help you with anything else let me know!  =

Hi I am also late on my period, Im NEVER late and I have taken two tests now which have come back negative.
My thoughts on this is that stress has to be causing it either that or there maybe something wrong that only the doctor can say. For me I am gonna give it a few more days and if still no AF I will have to head down to see my GP to see if they can tell me whats going on. If you are worried a trip to the doctors could be the answer anyway it cant hurt.  =

I would get to the doctor as soon as possible to make sure you're okay. Those tests are very accurate so if they are used properly you should be able to tell with great certainty whether you're pregnant. I hope that everything works out and it's just because your body is getting used to being off the patch.  =

the first thing that you need to do is take a pregnancy test and if it is neg. then you need to call the physician or clinic that prescribed the patch and explain to a nurse what has been going on in my case it was simply a hormone imbalance and i took progesterone pills for about six months *****caution*****if you are put on those pills you can still get pregnant so be careful  =

Its me again after reading what some people wrote its kinda strang what you girls are going threw. hey guys! well let me start off by saying that "THANK GOD IM NOT THE ONLY ONE GOING THROUGH THIS". honestly guys *same lisa from a few entries ago* i was scared out of my mind.. i was supposed to get it early december and its janurary now and i was sick and i had all the signs and i went to bed worried every night. the best thing to do is to take a pregnancy test thats what i did new years eve and it was negative. thats when i stopped worrying about everything. and i got my period 2 days later. i know its crazy try not to worry too much and just take the test. thats my best advice.. it worked for me.  =

My husband and I have been trying to have our second baby but every time we try I haven't got pregnant.
Today I am two days late. My nipples are sore and my breasts feel like its swollen.
I was supposed to have started my period on Jan. 1 but nothing yet. Before the 1st of this month I was having some kind of dark brown discharges for two days. It was not heavy enough to use a tampon I only used a panty liner. After those two days I didn't get my period. I usually get those dark discharges before my period but then some how I haven't gotten anything yet.

What does this mean?
Is it two early to take a pregnancy test?  =

My girlfriend is almost a month late. Her cycles are weird (not too entirely sure since we've only been together for 5 months). She really wants her period and is afraid that she's pregnant. We have had intercourse almost two weeks ago but she had her period in november. She's scared to get tested and when I read to her the common symptoms of pregnancy, the only things she had in common was tired (but not overly tired) and hunger. I was wondering if she is or not (although asking won't make it accurate since she didn't get tested), I would just like to hear a few opinions from people.  =

I am 21 and me and my husband are considering children. I have never been regular but last year has been horrible. I went 9 months without a period then suddently got one and now im around 3 months late again. I will be making an appointment soon to make sure there is nothing wrong that could be causing that.
