I am an Education major at Indiana University in South Bend. One of my requirements
as an education major is to interview a parent of a child with a disability to better
understand their situation and learn to better accomodate special needs students
within my classroom.
The interview consists the 4 following questions.
How did you feel when you learned your child had a disability?
How has your child having a disability impacted your life?
What are the benefits of having a child with a disability?
What do you (as a parent) want others to know about your child?
