Hi, new to this site but would like to chat with others who have children with cp, not sure whether coming or going at moment, would like to know about feeding tube as one of my boys is having one fitted, also would like to know about casting for legs as other son has outgrown his splints and now being advised to cast in plaster . Any advice would be appreciated. Many thanks

I have twins, and one has spina bifida. Not exactly the same, but certainly would love to chat.

I too have twins, but my son Joshua has severe cp and Jacob does not. I wish I had some advice for you, but I don't. I would love to chat. Besides my twins, I also have a 4 year old son. I can only imagine how hard you must work every day. Not only with twins, but both with special needs. I will say a special prayer for the patience and strength you need to get through. Sometimes, I wish I had some extra requests made on my behalf.

How old are your boys? I am also new to this site and have 5 month old twins...a girl and a boy who both have CP. So far the only diagnosis we've gotten for sure is the CP but we suspect they have other problems as well. It's pretty scary learning your babies have problems and not knowing how it will affect their lives.

I also have a son with CP. He was born at 26 weeks gestation and I have 4 other children. Our son is now 19 months old. He hasn't learned to sit up yet needless to say all of the other things that most children at his age can do, he can't. We are going to therapy four times a week for one hour and are just beginning to experience recommendations regarding possible surgery and splinting. How old is your son? I am looking for anyone that is willing to talk that may be going through the same thing or has been here before.
