GET THE ALARM! It was a life saver for me and my son. Within one week it worked. We still kept it on for a month or two incase there were any accidents. After I was done I passed to another mom who's son had same problem. Within 2 weeks, it worked. Both boys were very proud of themselves. I think it is important to tell them that this is to help them. They could then go to friends for sleep over parties. This other mom then passed it on to someone else. It worked them too. We had tried everything else too. Just sound sleepers is what the doctors said.

We have been using an alarm for 3 weeks and I am starting to see improvement but very slowly. The wet spot is getting smaller each week. When the alarm goes off she now is waking up just about the time I get to her room. She gets up and goes to the bathroom. The she has to be changed the alarm reset and the bed changed. Did anyone use something like plastic pants over the underwear while using the alarm?

Both my step kids wet the bed.We have alarms in their rooms and also I bought at the dollar store some placticon one side flannel on the other table cloths I flod them under them flannel side up( more comfortable and I also have the beds coverd with bed protectore. Anyway if the kds wet they only pee on the plastic table cloth so then I pitch it out and put a new one down,
I has worked for us. Good luck.
