Well...okay
I have a giant cold sore...this is no ordinary cold sore...thsi is extreme herpes...i woke up with itthis morning...my whole lip feels really heavy..i feel like one of them bulldogs
and its weeping!! its so gooey and gross. I have been plastering the bastard with zovirax and trying so hard to keep it from spreading...but i feel my lip will be gone and been eaten by this monster by morning
anything DECENT that works on coldsores...im frightened to kiss my bubbas!!! ↓

I've never had a Cold Sore. As far as I'm aware, the Zovirax should do the job - it's caused by a virus and viruses can be pretty tenacious, especially if you're run down.
Get some Zinc and Vitamin C tablets (combined) - these help with general healing and helping the body to fight infection.
You should also be taking a good quality Pregnancy Vitamin Supplement - something like Pregnacare.
You should continue with the Zovirax, but if you don't like it then you could try dabbing some neat Tea Tree Oil onto it....it's an excellent antibacterial and antifungal and it also kills viruses.

Im using zovirax, im on pregnacare and some folic acid pills i was prescribed (they help to reduce the risk of spina bifida i was told, and apparently i have a 30% chance of having a child with the condition)

| i also have one right now..its horrible. i swear, i don't get them but only in the summer. i use that over the counter abreva (sp?) and it takes them away in just a couple of days. it's expensive (about 20 dollars) but it's well worth it. ↑ |

my mum gets them alot...she gets them on the back of her legs too..
i can usually tell..like a tingly itch...then i pile on the zovirax and it stops it from coming... i honestly feel like a bulldog...my lip is so heavy!!! ↑ |

| she gets them on the back of her lower leg and on the back of her upper legs too..always has. Doctor didnt say it was unusual or anything...but she always gets them. Thye say once you've had herpes you are prone to it dont they? So your probably more likely to get them...which would explain why some people get them constantly and others dont... ↑ |

Most people approx 80% will develop this form of herpes y the time they are 8 years old.
