Well I made gabe an appointment at 11:15.....last night he was saying his rash/poison/unknown was hurting and he couldn't get to sleep.....and now his butt cheeks are covered, so it's getting worse even without him itching, and he said it's not itchy now, so not sure what is going on..? ↓

Well Gabe stayed home from school and he wants his turn on the computer so I'm off......I'll tell you gals what he's got when I get back from the doc with him : )

| POISON! So at least now we know...he has cephalexin and prednisone to take....so hopefully it clears up now : ) She said it's just his bodies way of getting poison thats why it looks funny, so hopefully she's right! ↑ |

| She said she didn't know.....but I wondered if she was completely sure, because why would they give an antibiotic for poison? Never heard of that, adn I've had poison way too many times! My camera is out of batter ies or I would post a pic of him! ↑ |

| Hmmm weird. I don't think they would give an antibiotic for poison. Probably for the open skin/rash so nothing gets in there, you know prophylacticaly (sp?). ↑ |

| Okay....he said before bed his belly still hurts, but could it be from just the taste of the prednisone? he seemed fine after awhile, and has been sleeping fine since, and i've had prednisone and know it's nasty....it took him about 3 tries to get it down and he had the white powder in his mouth.....just wondering? I hate to send him to school tomorrow if he's getting side effects, but he only has 2 days left and I don't want him to miss all the end of year fun. ↑ |

| Dana it could be the antibiotic making his tummy hurt. Try feeding him some yogurt if he will eat it as this will help his tummy. I haven't heard of giving antibiotics for poison ivy before unless some of the lesions are draining or something. Hope he feels better soon = ) ↑ |
