Hi momof1, I'm good!! How about you? We just got done watching the Garfield 2 movie. That was funny.

I'm doing pretty good... Hey is the Garfield movie just a cute as the first. Would you recommend buying it, or renting it?

I like it, it was cute. I don't know, my kids seemed to like it. It's not like the Bugs Life or Shriek movies which we own. I'd say try renting it first and if you like it, then buy it.

thanks...How old are your kids? My son is 3, and I'm trying to find ideas for christams presents. 3 seems to be a weird age for toys. He's to old for the toddler toys, and to young for the others.

Well, I have a 13, 12, 7 and 1 year old. My 13 year old wants a set of drums, the 12 year old wants a guitar, the 7 years old wants PsP2 (mini playstation) and well, the 1 year old doesn't really care as long as she can make a mess. So, I'll just roll the dice and see what happens. Getting drums and a guitar, I don't know if I want to be woken up to that kind of noise.

My son doesn't really doesn't care what he gets. I guess I'm luckey, he is not fixed on one toy or character. I know that I'm safe with trucks, blocks...and I'm getting him the playsckool...T.g. Bearytales...(it's the modern day Teddy Rupxin)..But other than that, I'm clueless...

Hi Momof1---Sorry, I'm back. Yes, you are lucky. Those kinds of gifts are easy. It's when they get older when the gifts become more expensive. I don't know if we are going to purchase those items but it's a thought. At least I have a basement they can attempt to drown out themselves in. Ear plus are a great idea. I think I'll ask for a set from each kid as their present to me. Since your son is 3, he might like the leap-pad that helps them to read their own books. When ever I turn the thing on, my 1 year old comes running out from under the woodwork to get her hands on it. Have you heard of it? I think wal-mart sells them. I saw on tv a leap pad video game but I don't know the age level for that.

my son has leap frogs "first little leapster)...it goes up to 36 months... I was thinking about the v-tech vsmile.. I don't know... My son doesn't watch alot of tv, and i'm wondering if 3 is to young to introduce him to video games, even if they are educational.
