WAHOOOO!!!
Hubby finally got his ass off of the check book and is allowing me to hire landscapers to finish off our lawn.. OH GOD I am sooo happy.. When you build a new house they don't sod the entire yard and we have been fighting with it and trying to decide what to do for a whole damn year.. They are coming Wednesday. I couldn't be more thrilled........

we have grass here, although I don't know why we even bother....we get such heavy water restrictions, that by August almost everyone's grass is dead....lol....the amount you're allowed to water, just isn't enough to keep it green in this heat..

except, our grass is still a little bit green cause we've had more rain than usual, so that's nice....

I want to hire someone to do something to our back yard.....it's just totally useless the way it is right now.....and James and I don't have the time to do it ourselves.....this fall i'm tearing out everything back there and then hopefully by next spring JAmes will allow someone to come in and fix it up all nice for us!!

I hate that, they should include sod in purchase! Good that it is happening now. I planted my avocado pit. It looks great. It was delayed due to knats in the miracle grow soil. Had to buy some new.

Oh geez... I bet they weren't gnats but white flies... Look on the underside of the leaves, and if they are resting there and you see black residue, you need to treat them right away!! We had white flies soooo bad this year. They were swarming in my grass which is uncommon.

They never got to the plant, they were in the bag when I opened it.
