| We're having a quiet Christmas, It's Sofia's birthday on Monday so we're having family come up to stay for that, so Christmas will be quiet really as can't expect everyone to travel twice...and it's difficult for me to travel anywhere alone as the kids obviously believe in Father Christmas and i'd have to cart all of the presents :oD ↑ |
| Ah the usual. No doubt we'll travel to my folks on Christmas Eve for Christmas Eve Mass, stay the night so Joey and my nephew Oisín can open their presents on Christmas morning together, Christmas day at my folks and the traditional Christmas Party at my gran's with all the family. I've got loads of shopping done, done a lot of it online as it's so difficult doing Christmas shopping with a buggy, it's so busy I can't get anywhere fast, and I'd probably end up running over little old ladies in my frustration so best to stay at home and get most of it done online. ↑ |
Yeah Gill I made the mistake of popping into the city near here on Friday with my girls and it was chaotic! Made it feel much nearer christmas then it actually was! I really expected it to be quiet as it was a weekday but hell no!!!
I've spent this evening ordering gifts from amazon and forbidden planet to avoid the stress....but still need to get a few little bits for the children really. Just stocking stuffers.
Nice idea with Oisin (sorry i dont have the little accent thing) and Joey opening their gifts together- will make for some nice photographs! Are your folks far away from you? ↑ |
