You need to attend a Higher Educational Establishment in order to gain a degree. This does NOT occur at a Further Education College.

Higher Education

You do not have to go away to go further! At Eastleigh College we offer a variety of higher level qualifications at very reasonable prices. As a college of further education, our funding allows us to pass on savings to our customers, so most of our HNC courses are only £448!

Higher level qualifications are valued by employers and can lead on to study at university. We offer a variety of full and part time Level 4 and 5 Higher National Certificates (HNC) and Higher National Diplomas (HND) in a variety of specialist areas: Beauty, Construction, Contracting Management, Fire Safety Engineering, Counselling Skills and Software Development. We also offer Foundation Degrees in Art and Design, Community Development, Management, Working with Children, and a Science Foundation Year.

In addition, our Access to Higher Education course leads to university and requires no formal entry qualifications. This course is aimed at adults who want to enter Higher Education or University. Most universities accept the Access Certificate for entry onto their courses. Previous Access students have been accepted onto a huge variety of degree courses, including medicine and other health related degrees. The course can be studied over one or two years in the day or evening and childcare facilities are available during the day, so it is very flexible to your needs.
