| Well we dont know who did it it culd have been anyoine that put the needle in the bin so no-one can be punished for it,a lot of the policys are changing now though,i just hope she will be ok! ↑ |
| I know what you mean,i was round the wards(before i had andrew) and i was drawing blood from a patient when he moved his arm the needle came out and stuck me in the thumb,not only was it painful and of cousre scarey but the pateint was ?hiv luckley it was all ok! ↑ |
| Here in the states we all have to go to training before we start work in Any hospital, read the policies, sign etc. They cover everything from universal precautions to fire safety. No one would ever ever do that!! ↑ |
| Its the same over here,the pocliys have been read and re-read,people sign them when they have read them,i really dont know what happened,but i do know that a few people in my department need more training! ↑ |
| I rememebr once i was cleaning under one of the tables in a clincal area and the person who had been there before me had not cleaned up propley had i ened up with a bit of glass stuck in my leg! ↑ |
