Who drinks them pro-biotic things?

I'm not sure if they are worht it or just part of a huuuggge scam. I went to asda wal-mart last week and they have an aisle JUST for these drinks. I decided to try some.

I got the muller one with the bacteria and omega 3+4. (in peach flavour) my stomach cant tolerate yoghurt much. I can only eat one pot VERY slowly but these drinks i seem to take well.

Are they just a money making scam or are they quite healthy and good to include in your diet?

I noticed they do them for toddlers and kids too...but i was concerned as they may be sugary and fatty and i dont like to give my kids bad foods.

anyone got an opinion?

Under normal circumstances there is no need to take probiotic drinks. The body is able to regulate it's own gut bacteria and keep itself healthy.

But......

If you have suffered a stomach upset, diarrhoea or have been taking antibiotics, then they can be a good idea. They will speed recovery and make you feel better again more quickly.

I give them to the kids if they've had a gut upset and they seem to work well.

Toddles eats the Petit Filous with the fruit in the bottom of the pot. He loves those.
