Name: hdc_momof2 | Date: Jan 13th, 2007 7:06 AM
lol...my little girl was laying beside and I had to turn sideways in my chair. lets just say I just took about 4 advil to kill the pain.lol

So your little one likes to get right up under you too - mine does. Eating, watching tv - she is right there beside me. Four advil - my stomach would be burning then I would have a burning neck and stomach LOL

lol I pretty much live on pain relievers. I'll probably have to take a couple more later

Name: Shelbysmom01 | Date: Jan 13th, 2007 7:10 AM
oh my - do you have chronic pain all the time? You know alot of advil is not good for your stomach.

Name: hdc_momof2 | Date: Jan 13th, 2007 7:11 AM
I have a rare disease called arthro gry posis
it's just one big pain all over...lol

Name: Shelbysmom01 | Date: Jan 13th, 2007 7:12 AM
OK - i'm a nurse and that one just flew right over my head. Never heard of it - is it like Fibromyalgia?

Name: hdc_momof2 | Date: Jan 13th, 2007 7:12 AM
yeah I know
I take ibuprophen most of time but I only take them when I absolutely have to...I mean when it hurts so bad I just want to cry
or have to cry:)

Name: hdc_momof2 | Date: Jan 13th, 2007 7:15 AM
uuummmm...I have no idea what that is...I've heard of it but don't know what it causes
arthro gry posis is a joint and muscle disease
very rare...no cure...won't get worse but won't get better either
I can't bend my legs and arms completely
and my muscles are vvveerrrryyy weak
I can't hardly even pick up my son anymore
and he's only 40lbs!

Name: Shelbysmom01 | Date: Jan 13th, 2007 7:18 AM
I am so sorry hdc - you seem to be doing pretty good -
Fibromyalgia is like a joint disease that causes pain and feeling weak all the time. Kind of like rheumatoid arthritis. There isn't a cure for it either. I had a nurse friend that has it.

Name: hdc_momof2 | Date: Jan 13th, 2007 7:21 AM
oh I see
yeah I have had 24 years to get used to it
try not to let it get me down...hell I'm not even supposed to be walking let alone taking care of 2 kids.LOL Beat the odds there!! GO ME!!!

Name: Shelbysmom01 | Date: Jan 13th, 2007 7:22 AM
if you don't mind me asking - how old are you? Stating you had the condition for 24 years - u must have been young when you started having symptoms? Just curious - let me know if i am asking too much!

Name: hdc_momof2 | Date: Jan 13th, 2007 7:23 AM
hell if it wasn't for the back pain I wouldn't mind a bit! I'm kinda fond of being different:)

Name: Shelbysmom01 | Date: Jan 13th, 2007 7:23 AM
I am glad you can walk and have 2 wonderful children.

Name: hdc_momof2 | Date: Jan 13th, 2007 7:24 AM
I was born with it.
If a person has it they were born with it...always...just for future reference
no I don't mind a bit to talk about it

Name: hdc_momof2 | Date: Jan 13th, 2007 7:25 AM
thank you...they are wonderful kids...a handful and a half though!LOL

Name: Shelbysmom01 | Date: Jan 13th, 2007 7:26 AM
oh okay. So is this disease inherited? Does anyone else in your family have it?

Name: hdc_momof2 | Date: Jan 13th, 2007 7:28 AM
Not inherited
I have been to a couple of specialist and done a lot of research on the net
they just don't know very much about it
other than what I have told you...that's pretty much it
there has never been a record of 2 people from the same family to have this disease. Weird huh

Name: hdc_momof2 | Date: Jan 13th, 2007 7:30 AM
check it out sometime and if you can find any thing else that I haven't told you already, please share it with me. I would love to hear it.

Name: Shelbysmom01 | Date: Jan 13th, 2007 7:33 AM
that is weird and I will research it. The good thing is you are here, can walk, talk, take care of yourself and your children, and seem like a happy person. Most people with such a condition would probably just give up. I am glad you didn't!

Name: hdc_momof2 | Date: Jan 13th, 2007 7:37 AM
well that's because I had one of the most supportive loving families in the world!
They wouldn't LET me give up. I was 5 years old when I finally learned to walk! My mom and dad didn't know how to take care of me so thank God for my guardians! They lived right across the street from us and they taught me how to walk and feed myself! They were my Angels!!

Name: Shelbysmom01 | Date: Jan 13th, 2007 7:38 AM
That is wonderful - sometimes lifes best things come in the form of guardian angels ;)

Name: Shelbysmom01 | Date: Jan 13th, 2007 7:40 AM
