Have you called the doctor to see if he/she has any suggestions,?? They might be able to point you in the right direction ↑ |
i dont much care for my baby's dr. she just kinda blows off my concerns. for example, my baby (who has neurofibromatosis) has several lumps on the back of her head. i'm very concerned about brain tumors (since this disease can cause them) but she just says they're swollen lymph nodes. without even ordering any testing. still, even if that's what they are, then why are they swollen?! u know what i mean? ↑ |

Try to Google "lacto-vegetarian baby". ↑ |
everything just keeps coming up for vegans which is different from lacto-vegetarian. ↑ |
I don't remember reading that - why again is your baby lacto-vegetarian? ↑ |
she eats dairy products but no meat or eggs. ↑ |
I guess I can't understand why - is it just what she wants, or there is a medical reason to it? ↑ |
she just flat out refuses to eat meat or eggs. she gags and spits it out. we've been trying to get her to eat the stage one baby food meats since she was 8 months old. she just wont touch em. ↑ |
OOOh that's good to hear, that it's just her. When I hear the name of a diet, all that comes to mind is that she can't have them, even if she wants to. There can be stages, they refuse one food or another. Your best bet probably would be to finelu puree meats and mix with salads, mashed potatoes, any veggie stir-fry. ↑ |
ive tried the pureed meat in other food trick so many times. she manages to pick out the taste and then wont touch it! even in sweet potatoes (her fav food)!
hey, anybody wanna make a phone call for me? they cause me to have panic attacks. ↑ |
has mspeachpit---- some people can have a condition that makes it hard for their body to process protiene. I am sorry that I do not remember the name of it right now, but it is really common for people who have this to have refused meats and eggs as babies. it was their bodies way of trying to protect it's self. I know that ite condition is not very common, so the odds are unlikely that is the reason, but it is always good to check to be sure. I think that another sign of this condition is having hair that breaks easy. again not 100% sure, but your dr can run a blood test. If she just does not loke it then give her time children change their tasts all the time. Ask you dr what you can use to be sure that she is getting the nutrition that she needs now though. ↑ |
omg, my head hurts. im supposed to find a neurosurgeon and get an appointment to make sure im not having a medical problem. ↑ |
Do it, Peach!!!!!!! Find one and give him a call!!!!! ↑ |
phone calls cause panic attacks. ↑ |
I'd phone for you...you give me all the info. What about beans and things. My daughter hates meat. So I make a meatless chile - too "old" for your baby but chick peas, kidney beans, lima beans, tofu??? ↑ |
In fact, we can do a conference call! ↑ |
now i cant even find the !@@###$ site i was looking at before! can this day get any worse?! ↑ |
