| I live in NJ now. I have lived all over but absolutely loved my time in AZ. We spent about 5 or so years there. For a year or so we were in Scottsdale then for 4 yrs we were in Tucson. I spent some time at the U of A (it's a family thing) while I was there. We are waiting for the right opportunity to move back but the schooling kind of gives us pause BUT then again the #1 HS in the US was in Tucson so who knows. ↑ |

i live in havasu..Cody is in the big city, but lived here before she moved there..
The problem with the schools is the lack of funding..A is one of the worst states for funding..and then lake havasu is one of the worst i the state..So basically LHC is one of the worst funded school systems in the US, but ironically our test scores are extremly high along with our graduation rates..I believe really its because the teacher that teach their love teaching..they certainly arent doing it for the money..My best friend taught Jr High and made 700 every two weeks..that is sad for a 4 year degree..
Arent the sunset one of the most amazing sunsets in AZ? when i get down about living here, whenever i see a sunset, it reminds me why i am here..you ever been to Lake Havasu? ↑ |
| Unfortunately I never made it to any of the lakes. So much to see so little time. I do so miss those beautiful purple mountains during sunset and those rainbows during monsoon season. It is so calming just thinking about it. Is Lake Havasu the spring break town? How is that? Have you ever thought about moving elsewhere or is LH the town for you? ↑ |
