can you make pot roast for 7 adults and 8 kids????

what sort of roast meat do you use?

okay, grab some mince around 1 kg,
, place in large bowl,
add 125grm cooking butter,
2 onions chopped,
2 ripe tomatoes chopped,
1 tbls tomato paste,
2 cups rice(long grain)
salt/pepper

mix it all up, then grab
cabbage that has been steamed prior for around 10 minutes or so,

also grab vine leaves preferably fresh if not from jar

then stuff the vine leaves & cabbage with the mince & rice mixture & roll the cabbage & vines into like thick fingers,
place around a meatball size in each and place in a large pot until finsihed, then on top of leaves(dolmades) cut up around 75 gr of cooking butter,
cover with a plate then pour in 1 cup of water and cover

cook for around 45 minutes on med high heat,
serve with yogurt or yummy greek salad & enjoy,
and this is my favourite greek dish,

I hope I have explained properly, good luck x

How about two or three roast chickens and a HUGE pot of mashed potatoes. OR you could just do burgers and stuff on the grill and an enormous pasta salad... everyone likes pasta salad

Swedish Cabbage Roll

1 head med. size cabbage
2-3 tbsp margarine
1-2 tbsp corn syrup
1 dl beef bouillon
1 dl heavy cream
salt and pepper
300 gr ground beef
1/2 dl rice (uncooked)
3 dl milk
1/2 tbsp butter

rinse rice and sautee in margarine, and then pour in milk...you may need more or less milk. cook until done. add raw beef to the rice.

wilt cabbage leaves and add beef mixture to the cabbage and roll em up. put rolls in a greased casserole dish. heat the 2-3 tbsp of margarine with the corn syrup...you may need more margarine and corn syrup than what it says...when mixture is hot..pour over rolls...cook in 400 degree oven for 30-45 mins. then turn the rolls, add heavy cream and bouillon salt and pepper to the dish and bake for another 30-60 mins, until beef is cooked....

this recipe is so rich and sweet and very fattening..LOL but so so good!! lol

Johnson's Temptation (if you like anchovies) actually it's still really good if you don't like em!!

serves 4

5-6 potatoes
2 onions
10 anchovies (NOT in oil...get the kind in water and spices. and try to get the ones already filleted)
2 tbsp butter
1 cup heavy cream

-grate potato so they're stringy and put in cold water
-fry onion in butter until golden yellow
-clean, fillet anchovies
-dry the potatoes off and put half of the potatoes in bottom of greased casserole dish
layer the anchovies and onion on top of potatoes, then add the rest of the potatoes on top (dish should have potatoes on the top and bottom)
-pour half of the cream over the dish and a few dollops of butter on top.
-bake at 400 for about 45 mins. until there's a nice golden brown color. then pour rest of cream over the dish

also VERY fattening, but very addicting!! lol...i totally hate anchovies, but LOVE this dish....
