Say you need a crib you ask for it and if anyone has they reply & you go get it ( FREE).
If you need to get rid of something post it and someone comes and gets it. You can put in where they can pick it up when you are not home what ever you wan to work out ..Just be safe.
I have gotten movie passes ,couch w \matching chairs like new. New sneakers fro my stp son... ALL Free ( well gas money) It is all catagorizeed by towns\county. It has been great.

To start participating in Freecycle, all you need to do is send an email! you address it to [email protected]. In the subject line put OFFER
(item) in (town) or WANTED (item) in (town). If you want to add any
details in the email itself, that's great. then hit SEND. That will
post it to the group website and send it to every one on email. Our
group is setup so replies go only to the original poster.
You will recieve many responses. Freecycle does not have a First Response Wins rule. We suggest waiting 12-24 hours for all responses to come in, and then you may select the recipient from the pool of respondants. The original OFFER person posts a TAKEN post. And that's it--you are on your way to Freecycling!
For safety reasons, please do NOT include your phone number or address in your
posts to the group. It's fine to exchange them privately with your
giftee/gifter, but it's better not to put your personal information
out there to the group at large.
