Are you using the 'feet to foot' position in her crib? I'd stop wrapping her if I were you. I've never heard of light covers doing any harm. She'll invariably kick them off during the night and you may have to get up and replace them. ↑ |

STOP wrapping her. Just dress her for bed according to the temp. I have 3 children and they are fine, only one does like covers but I have no problem with pj's staying on them! You can also use those pads that fit on both sides of the baby to keep her from rolling over. I don't know much about them but surely you can find someone on here that does. ↑ |

Oh my goodness, I can totally relate! i have two boys (20 mos and 6 weeks) with my first son we swaddled him til he was almost 4 months. he loved it, but he was two strong and big to stay wrapped up Over the course of a week (and rough nights) we got him used to not being wrapped by wrapping less and less of him. Then I got this great idea. I got some material (fleece is great!) and made a kind of blanket bag. It looks like a bag basically with straps that go over the shoulders (I used buttons). That way I had the peace of mind of knowing he was warm enough (we can't afford to keep our heat up at night), he couldn't kick it off or get smothered and he could still wiggle and kick around, yet feel warm and secure. .I I used half a yard to make it and I have made some and given them aways as baby gifts. It solved the problem for me and he used it til he was over a year old. hope that helps! ↑ |

My son had to be swaddled (wrapped) in order to sleep until he was about 4 months old. We used a Cotton Cable Blanket from polo.com (expensive, but nice!) that was long and wide enough to really swaddle him tightly so that the blanket did not come up over his head during the night. However, it is so dangerous when they start rolling over or they really fight the wrap. I had many nights where I woke up and checked on the baby only to find the swaddle covering his face. SO SCARY! We had to suck it up and stop swaddling him. It made for some long nights at first, but compared to me staying awake with the fear of my son suffacating at night...it was worth it. ↑ |

Some stores sell sleep sacks that you can zip the baby into if you feel they need to be covered more. They also have swaddle blankets that are supposed to stay secured. (Babies R Us has the sleep sacks). Hope that helps! ↑ |

You could also get one of those safety sleep things that are attached to the bed as well as a sleep sack if you want to keep her safely on her back or side ↑ |
