Hopefully you can look past all the negativity that has been so rampant on this board lately and can make some new friends! What kind of private adoption are you looking into? My husband and I are also planning to do a private, identified adoption... if we can meet a birthmom whom we can become friends with, that is. This type of adoption seems so much more conducive to an open, honest relationship between the two families, we thought... We only want this type of a relationship with a birthfamily for everyone involved. We have considered foster to adopt also, but weren't sure, we were ready for that step yet. I would love to chat...
