I live in the US and a girl in London is very ill with cancer. She is in need of us to take her child immediatley. The child will be born in a couple of days. This has been very short notice for us. We are ecstatic to have the opportunity to adopt but very upset about the circumstances surrounding it. We are praying for the mothers saftey. Does anyone know a way to process the adoption without going to an agency or a good lawyer that can help? Some advice please there's not much time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ↓

| And going along with everybody else...Unless that baby was born here in the USA it is an International Adoption and would require the paperwork. Which would be $$$$$. I personally would not take the chance of someone just giving you a baby without going thru the legal processes. These are the stories that 60 Minutes are made up of. People that do not follow the legal process and then it comes back to bite you, then the child gets ripped away from the only parents they know and the parents go thru heartache. I would pass on this unless the proper avenues are in place. JMO ↑ |

| Yeah her doctor called me and sent a contract stating that in the event anything were to happen to deborah I would get the child. He and she both have signed it. I just don't know. It states very clearly that I am responsible for nothing financially and in the event she survives ther is no money or material possesions exchanged. I am confused. Imagine it is true and I do nothing and sheis counting on me and this is my one chance to have a child!!!! ↑ |

| This is a S C A M big time do not do this, Same old story as Cameroon just they now like to add London or Spain to their stories. And US citizens last I checked cannot adopt from the UK. They have plenty of hopeful adoptive parents right there. ↑ |

| The scam will include money give them time and some people literally enjoy the emotional harm it does to others the do the scam. They may never ask for money but its a scam she would be going thru a local agency and would be getting counseling assistance etc. Plus You would need an Agency that does international adoptions several lawyers here and in that country if you could even do this legally which you cannot. Also you would need a visa for the child, a homestudy update for international adoption,. Homeland security paperwork and those forms to bring a foreign born child home. Lets see I would say this would cost many many thousands and thousands of dollars and that is the starting fees all that to find out this is going to end sadly. ↑ |

The purpose for a scam is either for financial gain or for the emotional thrill.
Shea, it appears you have been through some hard times. Keep researching adoption and be safe. For those that don't understand......... Shea posted this awhile back. shea it sounds like you are a great mom just know this is not a safe place.

My son is 4 and has cystic fibrosis. It can be very difficult at times but what I find the hardest is that he seems like every other kid and his medicine becomes so routine that it's like brushing teeth or taking a nap and I almost forget he has it and then bam, practically overnight he's sick and in the hospital and reality hits all over again, my child is actually very sick. I am lucky I have moved to Dallas and we have some of the best doctors in the country. I didn't have to deal with enzymes until about a year and a half ago because he was producing them. Good news is that they are working hard at finding a cure. They are in the final stages so HOPEFULLY it will only be no more than 10 years. I look at it like I am just trying to keep him from damaging his body until he's cured, which I know in my heart he will be. Also they just came out with in Australia a special saline solution that taken by itself is supposed to help greatly. I haven't gotten to talk to my doctors yet. There is also a company called manitech that has natural supplements that are very beneficial. I haven't been able to get my son on them yet because they are costly and insurance won't cover anything natural. It's the same for a medicine called Seabiotics. They are both awsome products that arn't fda approved but benefit a huge variety of illness'. You could look into those. Sometimes I worry about my son being so dosed up on medications. I would never have allowed my child to be on so much medication or recieve so many shots if the alternative wasn't so bad. The side affects scare me and I worry that all the antibiotics are weakening his immune system but what else can you do? = ↑ |

| OKAY first off and this is kind of confusing I AM SHEa and I have a 4 year old with cystic fibrosis. My best friend is Trista and she does not have a computer or any children. She uses my computer and login name. She is the one in this situation and hoping to adopt. She only uses my computer for this purpose.
