| IF you have been through this much you need to stay away from this board. You will not find what you are looking for here. 99% of these people are scammers. Educate yourself (not that you are not educated, that isn't what I mean) but learn the red flags of a scam. Sign up for the [email protected] list. Visit abcadoptions.com....visit boards that are reputable. This one is not. Don't give up...... your baby is out there just learn who you should and should not deal with. Adoption.com is good for information...but the problem with that site is if ANYONE posts ANYTHING negative the posts are promptly removed and people are banned from the site....the problem occurs then is that you don't get a true picture of any given situation.....it's all one sided. The site is too worried about getting sued. If you post anything to them just ask people to email you privately but that doesn't always guarentee you will have anyone respond. I know you don't know me but trust me on this cause I did just that and still got scammed. There are some great people out here that are willing to help. Another place to be careful of is adoptads.com and parentprofiles.com. Those last two places can also be really helpful but you MUST know how to detect a scam and be willing to seperate your emotions from the facts....scams do happen there as well. There are a couple of gals also that run a database where you can check out adoption scams I think it's called... thecruelestcon.com you can also report your scammers there. I have also went to another website lately called goadoption.com and really like to but there are not too many people that post to that.
