I am new to this site and my husband and I just started looking into adoption... because we are unable to carry a child of our own, I was just wondering if anyone can tell me how I can be sure which posts are scams and which aren't??? I long to adopt a child and I don't want to end up falling for a scam, I just don't think I could handle that right now. PLEASE HELP?!?! ↓

they're pretty much all scams.You should get a homestudy and go through your local agency.That would be the safest and most effective way to now that you get a child without being scammed. ↑

You can be scammed going through an agency also. Our family is proof!

There is no way to guard yourself 100% from a scammer. Sorry!
First thing to do..... ask for proof of pregnancy to be sent from the Dr's office to you.
Look for red flags... To good to be true??? Probably! Never send any money, unless it is through an agency or lawyer... Do a background check.... google the email address, check myspace.... Get phone contact, check to make sure the name and number match up,.... Use your brain, and let the heart follow!... ↑

Hanna the sad thing here is even if it isnt a scam some people will make the very real PBM out to be one and will scare her off. My advise if you match with someone dont let people here know and listen to your gut not to others idol gossip. ↑
